This where two nights I did in London at The South London Pacific Leopard skin Lounge and Escape Bar Belly Beats meet. World and Exotica come together in these songs. Take 'Harem Dance' for example by the Armenian Jazz Sextet recorded in America but came from the Orient via Turkey. A tune that has been used by many and I even found some 80's group called Pookie doing a version.
